Last night I went to Rocking Horse Cafe. For $35 I got a frozen watermelon margarita, corn tortillas layered with free range chicken breast,
Chihuahua cheese & salsa verde, slow roasted Niman Ranch natural pork in red chile rub with plantain purée & collard greens, and a cinnamon ice cream in a fudge brownie…
We only waited ten minutes without a reservation and sat out side. It made for some interesting people watching. The only thing I would change is that our table was on a slant so we were in constant fear that our cocktails were going to slide off the small stainless steel table.
All in all, I left absolutely satisfied! The waiter was so nice and gave excellent service. I would recommend it to all. It is classified as modern Mexican cuisine.
